Pull out your calendar and mark the dates now. November 4-6, an East Asia Summit will be held at Summer Grove Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, and we would love to see YOU there.
What is a Summit? A Summit is a missions conference in which you get to interact with East Asia field personnel and find out how you can connect to God’s work with East Asian peoples around the world. There will be worship services, testimonies, nuts-and-bolts information sessions, videos, workshops, prayer stations, displays, and fellowship at meal and break times.
During this conference you will learn:
Who can attend? Maybe you think this is just for pastors and and staff members, but attendance is not limited. We would encourage any church member interested in our work among East Asian peoples to come. Any church member interested in the work in East Asia can come; just be sure to pre-register, as you cannot register at the door.
What is the schedule like? The activities will begin on the evening of Wednesday, November 4th, and end by mid-afternoon on Friday, November 6th, with a full day of activities on Thursday. The attendance fee includes several catered meals. Later on, we’ll suggest names of nearby hotels where you can stay.
Attending this Summit will provide you with a unparalleled opportunity to make connections with East Asian people who are in great need of the impact that people just like you can make.
