Because of your selfless giving, 10,000 copies of a gospel film and tract were distributed in a large city in China. One man who received these said he had heard the message before but did not completely understand it. After he watched the film, which explained from creation to Jesus' second coming, he decided to give his life to Christ. Locals who distributed the packets said they wished they had even more to give out. Your giving has helped to inspire local believers to share the gospel with those around them: an essential element of our work here!

"My Word...will not return to me void but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11) God's promise holds true, thanks to your support in spreading His Word throughout the world through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering! "Ronny," a young man from a village among our people group, was saved during his senior year in college though the witness of his friend, who had believed through the witness of your representatives here. The weekend after he believed, "Ronny" traveled to his hometown to help spread the Gospel. This past July, when Ronny's father came from his village to attend his graduation, Ronny shared Jesus with his illiterate father and gave him a Jesus film and Chinese Christian music VCD. The next month when Ronny visited his hometown, he found that his father had believed in Jesus! Currently, Ronny is teaching in a junior high school in a nearby town. He told us, "I have not forgotten to do God's work!" Recently he visited the home villages of two of his students and witnessed to the people there! Your gifts through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and the Cooperative Program have enabled Ronny to continue "to do God's work!"

Because of gifts to Lottie Moon, we were able to add two new career folks to our team in a big city in East Asia. Because they speak the language and have a long term commitment, they have already led over seven people to the Lord and are now training and discipling them to share the good news with others. The most important contribution you can make is one that puts long-term people here to serve with us. Thank you for sending them to us.

The 2006 LMCO funds helped us purchase an inflatable children's pool which is used as a portable baptismal at we are able to take into people's homes to baptize new converts. Thank you for giving so that we are able to purchase useful tools such as this.
