A Day in the Life...
March 2004
Daniel was born during the height of the Cultural Revolution. His father spent two years in prison during that period, and his large family faced many hardships.
Daniel excelled in school, spending many hours studying above and beyond the required amount. As a result, Daniel was able to attend one of the most prestigious universities in China. When he studied the required school curriculum on the origin of man and the earth he began to find many contradictions. He decided it just did not add up. In his heart he knew that there had to be more to life than what he was being told.
Daniel realized that the world and universe itself pointed toward more than he was being told. Daniel began a search for the truth.
Daniel refused to accept the answers to the questions he received while studying at the University. He studied every book he could find for answers but instead found more contradictions. One night Daniel had a dream in which God spoke to him telling him that he would find the truth. After waking up,
Daniel continued his search for the truth and it eventually led to Jesus.
Daniel is now a Christian and a very active servant for his Lord. In addition to his normal activities, Daniel leads a house church, teaches a weekly Bible study in his home and teaches English to his study-group.
Like many Chinese Christians, he struggles to find enough literature written in Chinese for his church and study-group. Daniel’s search led him to the truth. Daniel is now sharing that truth with his friends, neighbors and co-workers.
