Asia is a very interesting place. At ordinary markets, you can find very weird things or types of food, such as, live frogs, flattened pig heads, dead snake wine, roasted ox stomach, etc. I’ve tasted duck feet, spicy noodles, blackened tofu, and pig intestines. Some are too spicy to swallow, some are too hard to chew, but some are very yummy!

We initially started talking to the three girls who were about nine or ten years old because they wanted to know how my skin got so white. We talked for a few minutes and then they wanted to help us pass out the hand fans. They were so enthusiastic about giving out the fans that they gave away their own fans as well. We took this opportunity to share with them about Jesus, telling them that just as they gave the fans as a free gift to others, God also gave His Son Jesus as a gift to the world.

We headed to the store and bought supplies for the children, over 100 books for all ages, several bundles of white paper and several containers of colored markers. A couple of hours later we were back in the refugee camp. Much to our delight, changes were taking place!
